Da più di 40 anni infatti, la ditta si occupa di accessori adatti a tutti gli appassionati di videomaking.
Nata negli ultimi anni 60 da Lino Mafrotto, che ebbe l’idea di creare prodotti leggeri e più adatti alle esigenze dei fotografi professionisti, oggi l’azienda commercializza i suoi articoli in più di 65 paesi nel mondo.
Fin dai primi anni 70 il fondatore della compagnia si è focalizzato sulla produzione di nuovi supporti, una parte fondamentale della fotografia fino ad allora trascurata, creando treppiedi e altri accessori la cui caratteristica principale è la capacità di carico, la resistenza agli usi estremi e alle condizioni atmosferiche difficili.
Partendo da una piccola ditta con un laboratorio individuale, Manfrotto nell’arco degli anni si è associata con figure commerciali arrivando ad avere una larga rete di distribuzione con diverse aziende internazionali.
Manfrotto investe costantemente in nuove tecnologie in base alle tendenze di consumo rendendola leader del settore sia per innovazione che per qualità.
