The URSA Mini Pro 12K is the third-generation Blackmagic URSA Mini, designed for high-end filmmaking, documentaries, and VFX production. Launched on July 16, 2020, this camera redefines the Super 35 standard with a custom RGBW sensor at 12,288 × 6,480 resolution (80 MP) and 14 stops of dynamic range.
It captures 12K at 60 fps, 8K at 120 fps, and 4K Super 16 at 240 fps, offering stunning editorial resolution and exceptional flexibility in post-production. Thanks to the Blackmagic RAW codec, 12K editing is possible even on laptops, allowing reframing, focus changes, and compositing without quality loss.
